See![]() In the Episcopal Church it is often said, “We are what we pray.” We believe that it is in worship that we all come to understand who we are as children of God in a Christian community. ![]() Therefore, we welcome and encourage worshipers from every tradition to be with us as we seek to give praise and thanks to God in the name of Jesus Christ. ![]() Our manner of worship is based on the unique and historic tradition of the worldwide Anglican Communion and is expressed through the rites and services of The Book of Common Prayer. ![]() Everyone is invited to share in the Eucharist or to receive a blessing at the railing; the consecrated bread and wine are offered to all. We recognize the importance of welcoming children into our worship services. However, we are aware that some parents may find it distracting to their worship experience. Therefore, on Sundays, we offer a nursery for infants and toddlers, staffed with trained childcare workers from 10:00AM to 11:15PM. At the 10:00AM service (September through May) children aged three through sixth grade are led out of the service during the Children's Worship Processional, just after the Collect of the Day, to take part in worship activities geared to their ages. They return to the service to participate in the Communion of the People. Copyright 2011 Christ Episcopal Church Dearborn, 120 North Military, Dearborn MI 48124, 313 565 8450 |
